French Empire Surtout with Three Crystal Decanters

French Empire Surtout with Three Crystal Decanters

A low surtout-de-table on three small clawed feet with three elegant cut crystal decanters perched in an ormolu rack. The surtout has a mirror glass bottom with an ormolu mount with a low gallery. The rim is decorated on the outside with a stylized leaf vine boarded by cable motifs.

The ormolu rack consists of three large rings to hold the decanters and three smaller rings round the outside to store the stoppers.
The central beam has an elegant handle at the top to move the surtout.
