Description

A pair of baluster-shaped candlesticks on a octagonal base. The base is decorated with cameos and war trophies such as banners, weaponry, bugles and an eagle.
Under the node a border decorated with palmettes. The node itself is decorated with festoons and tassels. The balluster shaped stem is decorated with cameos and conchiform ornaments.
The sockets are decorated with fleur-de-lys, birds and braziers and have a protuberanced edge.
These candlesticks show great detail and meticulous engraving.
