Description

The table rests on four tapered legs that end in metal knobs. The middle leg at the back of the table can be retracted to support the tabletop when it is unfolded, thus forming a round cardtable.
The legs are decorated on all four sides with satinwood inlay and a fine heringbone rim bordered with amaranth. The leg chapiters are decorated with amaranth triangles. The table shows two vertically sliding doors above a ribbon of satinwood and an imaginative stripe of ebony and palmwood. Above the doors a ribbon with triglyphs in satinwood and amaranth. The tabletop is decorated with a fanshape surrounded by an oval and a diamond.
