Running train with fusee and balance. The striking train and alarm strike on a chime.
The square casing has profiled edges with remnants of gilding and hangs from an ormolu ring. The lunette is ormolu bronze, as is the alarm-dial.
The silver-plated dial is decorated in relief. The hours are indicated by Roman numerals, every five minutes are indicated by Arabic numerals.

Jean Baptiste Grimard I, was appointed master before 1752 in Antwerp.
